Marty is the Chief Executive Officer of News America Marketing. In this capacity, he oversees all of the company’s offices across the country and in Canada. Marty was appointed CEO in July 2014. He joined News America Marketing in 1987 and has held numerous executive roles, including President responsible for all Retail and Core Sales relationships, Executive Vice President for Shopper Marketing, National Sales Manager for SmartSource iGroup, Group Senior Vice President/Eastern Division Sales Manager for FSI and In-Store Sales, Group Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager for News America FSI, Eastern Regional Sales Manager and Senior Vice President of the Partnerships group. Before joining News America Marketing, Marty spent several years as a marketing manager with NFL Properties. He started his career in packaged goods as a brand manager for Procter & Gamble and Nestle. Marty devotes time to other organizations as well. He is a board member of the non-profit organization RENEW International, and board member of Softcard Systems. Marty serves as an Alumni Interviewer for his alma mater, Georgetown University. In his free time, Marty likes to travel with his wife and three children, as well as ski and golf.
Ajay is the Chief Operating Officer and CFO of News America Marketing. He has been leading the company’s corporate strategy, finance, enterprise technology, and operations teams since he joined in 2016. Prior to this, he held several leadership positions at News Corp, where most recently as SVP of Finance, he headed global financial planning and led several strategic projects for the office of the CEO, including the integration of acquisitions into the News Corp portfolio. Previously, Ajay was CFO of HookLogic, Inc., an e-commerce and media technology pioneer, specializing in retail, travel and automotive. Ajay was also CFO of Lifestyle Communities at Reader’s Digest Association where he led finance and business development for a $500-million media portfolio including brands such as allrecipes.com and Everyday with Rachael Ray. Prior to that, Ajay spent six years at Gemstar-TV Guide (a News Corp company) in several senior roles, most recently as SVP, Strategy and Business Development. Ajay began his business career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1993, where he spent six years working in New Delhi and New York. He is a graduate of the program for Creativity and Innovation in the Organization at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Panjab University in 1993. Ajay is an avid foodie and world explorer. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, Mariangel, and their two boys.
Heidi assumed the role of Chief Human Resources Officer in March of 2016 after a two-decade-long career in Sales at News America Marketing. In her role, Heidi is responsible for contributing to the company’s strategic transformation by supporting the total operation and wiring the organization for growth through its most valuable resource: its people. Her areas of focus include talent acquisition and development, knowledge management, business partnerships, and benefits and compensation. Heidi joined News America Marketing in 1988 and has held numerous executive roles, driving growth across News America Marketing’s clients such as P&G, Kraft, Heinz, SC Johnson, Kimberly Clark and Campbell Soup Company. In her last role, Heidi was Executive Vice President, Central Division Manager based in the Chicago office. Prior to that, she held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales for the Eastern Region, managing high impact sales teams in the New York territory. She graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Heidi will say that her greatest accomplishment of all is her family, for which she has earned the titles of wife, mom, chauffeur, coach, tutor, nurse and many more.
Angelique joined News America Marketing as Chief Marketing Officer in June of 2016. As CMO, Angelique is responsible for providing thought leadership and strategic marketing guidance for the organization overall, in addition to leading the Insights, Innovation, Product and Creative Services teams. Prior to joining News America Marketing, she worked for PepsiCo for 22 years, where she held many roles in strategy and marketing, including leading iconic brands such as Pepsi, Mountain Dew and SoBe. Her efforts resulted in being named a “Woman to Watch” by Advertising Age in May 2005. Angelique holds an undergraduate degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She is an avid traveler and adventurer who has climbed Machu Picchu, gone scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, sailed through the Panama Canal, and hiked through the hills of Myanmar. She lives with her husband, David, and their children, Sophia and George, in Scarsdale, NY.
Zack joined News America Marketing in November 2017. In his current role as Chief Growth Officer for News America Marketing, Zack is focused on accelerating growth and building and leveraging transformational technologies across industries. Zack comes to News America Marketing after a 16-year career at the Kroger Company. Zack most recently led digital technology and co-founded Kroger’s digital transformation overseeing an organization of several hundred associates from around the world. During his career at Kroger, Zack also worked across diverse technology and executive leadership areas encompassing strategy, innovation, supply chain, infrastructure, retail operations, and digital. Zack has a BS degree in Information Technology from the University of Cincinnati. In addition, he has attended Cornell University, MIT, and the d.School at Stanford University in relentless pursuit of ongoing personal growth and innovation. Zack was named by University of Cincinnati as IT alumni of the year in 2009. He is active in regional development, the startup community, and technology leadership mentoring across Cincinnati, New York and Toronto.
Tracey serves as News America Marketing’s Chief Retail and Merchandising Officer. In this role, she is responsible for Retail Strategy and Relationships, Reimagining In-store Incentive Experience, New Business Development, Retail Merchandising Services and our Field Organization. Tracey brings with her more than 28 years of Core Merchandising, Operations, Expense Optimization, Digital and Supply Chain Transformation experience from both Target Corporation and Whole Foods Market. For over two years, Tracey was engaged full-time with Whole Foods Market, in support of their transformational efforts, after a 17-year career at Target. She first joined Target in 1998 and held several purchasing and leadership positions at the company, most recently as a VP-level Merchandising Operations leader of the Supply Chain Transformation Office and Expense Optimization. Tracey graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Retail Merchandising and Business Management. She enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and their two children. She can also be found enjoying warm weather vacations, jogging, playing golf or serving on community and local business boards in her free time.
Robert was named Chief Revenue Officer in July 2017, after two decades in Sales at News America Marketing. In this role, Robert oversees the entire sales force in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to this appointment, Robert held the role of Executive Vice President, National Sales Manager and was responsible for all of our Core sales efforts across North America. Previously, he held the title of EVP, Central Division Sales, where he was in charge of the Minneapolis, Chicago and Cincinnati offices. Robert started his career with News America Marketing in 1994 as an Account Coordinator in Packaged Goods and Partnerships. He also served as Senior Account Director in Direct Response and as a Group Sales Manager in Wilton Packaged Goods Sales. Robert graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1994 with a degree in Marketing and Logistics. He is an avid skier and loves to cook, but he and his wife usually have their hands full with their three children and two dogs, Wally and Milo.
Nataraj Iyer joined News America Marketing in February 2018 as Senior Vice President, General Manager for the At Home/Print network. He is accountable for the company’s FSI, Custom Media and Smart Source Direct groups to drive growth and profitability, as well as collaborate in the data transformation of print, and its connection to the digital network. Nataraj brings over 30 years of experience in consumer packaged goods marketing, retail and manufacturing. In his most recent role, he was the Senior Director Store Brands, Brand Management at CVS Health where he led the transformation of CVS’s brands to be more meaningful to the CVS shopper. Prior to that, he held several leadership positions over the course of 26 years at Procter & Gamble in both manufacturing and marketing, including roles working with top retailers and in the incentives space managing BrandSaver, eSaver and eSampler. Nataraj has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Outside of work, Nataraj loves to spend time with his wife and daughters whether it traveling or staying home and watching a movie.
In 2016, Rob was promoted to the News America Marketing Executive team and currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Central Division Sales, based out of the Chicago office. In this role, he is responsible for all Central Division sales efforts across a tremendous roster of clients. Rob is a 19-year News America veteran who has been with the News Corp family for twenty-eight years. Rob joined News America Marketing as a Vice President, Group Sales Manager in the Chicago office, where he was primarily responsible for managing the Kraft account. Two years later, Rob was promoted to Senior Vice President, Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern Division and moved to the New York office. During his tenure as SVP, Northeast Regional Manager, he managed a roster of accounts that included Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser and P&G/Gillette, to name a few. Rob is the proud father of two adult daughters and is a lover of all things Greek. He currently resides in Chicago with his wife, Lisa.
Joe was named Executive Vice President, of Western Division Sales in January 2005, a position he still holds to this day. In this role, he oversees the sales efforts of the Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, and Bentonville offices on accounts that include Starbucks, Clorox, Dole, and Frito-Lay. Previously, Joe was the Western Regional Manager working in the Los Angeles office. He originally joined News America Marketing in 1993 as an Account Coordinator and has since spent time working out of New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Joe graduated from the University of Richmond in 1992 with a degree in Economics. He lives with his wife and twins in Palos Verdes, CA. On the weekends, Joe used to train for marathons, triathlons, and outdoor adventure races, but now his children provide him with all the athletic challenges he could hope for.
