Planning SmartSource Magazine® Programs
SmartMatrix® is a proprietary, web-based FSI-planning tool that creates optimal market lists using various data sets, including IRI Brand/Category Development Indices, TD Linx Retail ACV Data, Spectra Demand Indices, Simmons Market Potential Index by Demographic Data, and/or your custom market-level data. Based on this data, SmartMatrix® can also assign coupon values and analyze market lists to identify additional coverage opportunities.

 

SmartMatrix® uses form-level data, which is more targeted than market-level data, letting you choose the most efficient SmartSource Magazine forms.

  • IRI provides BDI/CDI at the form level, using a proprietary methodology that matches brand and category sales to form geography.

Planning SmartSource® Custom Media Programs

Simmons measures the reach, frequency and impressions of our in-store programs. Combining this data with Sorensen’s Aisle-Traffic data gives you the ability to include SmartSource® in-store programs as you plan your media buy. Impressions, GRP and CPMI for your specific target market are also available. 

 

Spectra data recommends the best retailers for your in-store programs based on your campaign objectives. Using Spectra, you may target via your brand’s demos or by general demos. Spectra data also provides secondary placement recommendations, offering the best options for targeting similar types of consumers elsewhere in the store.
