New Senior Vice President, Region Manager for
News America Marketing

 

Ryan DeVoe's Promotion Brings Him Back to New York

 

New York, NY (July 13, 2007) –News America Marketing, a division of News Corporation (NYSE: NWS), today announced the promotion of Ryan DeVoe to Senior Vice President of their Atlanta region. DeVoe will also oversee the National Direct Response sales efforts from the NY office. Previously, DeVoe had been Vice President, General Sales Manager, responsible for the Pittsburgh office. 

 

The change of venue is not the first for Mr. DeVoe who has worked in many of News America Marketing’s offices, including Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, New York and Wilton. After receiving his BS degree in Marketing from SUNY Oswego, Mr. DeVoe began his career with News America Marketing in 1995 as an Account Coordinator. In 2002, Mr. DeVoe was the Business Lead on a new IS development for the sales force of the organization. Subsequently, as a Group Sales Manager in New York, he managed one of News America Marketing's largest accounts, Colgate-Palmolive. He also worked in Minneapolis and has called on clients such as Hormel Foods, HJ Heinz, Land O’Lakes and L’Oreal USA throughout his career. 

 

News America Marketing’s President, Chris Mixson stated, “This is a well-deserved promotion and we are looking forward to Ryan’s past successes translating into future wins for the Atlanta Region and the organization as a whole.”

 

Mr. DeVoe, his wife Tricia, and four-year old daughter Vivian will be making their home on Long Island.
